The Ultimate tier lock on the best features means the base plan feels underpowered for the price.
The Insights Hub is the feature that keeps us on UserTesting despite the cost. Being able to search across 3 years of study findings, tag clips by theme, and share specific moments with stakeholders who were not in the original research sessions — that compounds in value over time. You cannot get that from a spreadsheet or a shared drive. The frustration is that card sorting and tree testing require the Ultimate tier, which is a meaningful extra cost jump from Advanced.
